1. Queens Lounge – Cape Town – Venue Hire Terms and Conditions
  1. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment of the venue hire fee. b. Payment must be made on receipt the invoice to secure the booking.
  2. Inclusions & Exclusions a. Venue hire includes:
  3. Use of the designated space as specified in your booking and invoice (Lounge, Patio, or Boardrooms).
  4. Complimentary snacks and bottled water, use of boardroom water
  • Access to Wi-Fi, smart TVs, projector and live video conferencing in b. Venue hire excludes:
  1. Bar tab, catering, and additional AV
  2. Parking fees and extended operating hours (subject to separate charges).
  3. Deposit and Cancellations
  4. 100% upfront payment of venue hire fee for bookings under R20 000.
  5. A deposit equivalent to 50% of the venue hire fee is required for bookings exceeding R20,000. c. Cancellations:
  6. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the event will receive a full refund, minus 10% of the full venue hire fee as administrative fee.

    1. Queen’s Lounge is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property during the hire
    2. Guests are responsible for any damages to the property, furnishings, or equipment caused during the Costs for repairs or replacements will be billed to the client.
  9. Conduct and Use of Space
    1. The client must ensure that all guests adhere to the venue’s policies, including noise restrictions and respect for other patrons.
    2. No external food, beverages, or décor may be brought into the venue without prior
  10. Service Staff and Additional Charges
    1. Additional service staff, extended hours, and customised event coordination are available at additional Rates will be provided upon request.

  11. Force Majeure
    1. Queen’s Lounge reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to power outages, natural disasters, or government regulations.
  12. Indemnity
    1. The client indemnifies Queen’s Lounge against all claims, losses, or damages arising from the event, except those caused by the venue’s gross negligence or willfull misconduct.
  13. Payment Terms
    1. All payments are to be made via EFT or credit Cash payments will not be accepted. b. Outstanding balances must be settled no later than 3 days before the event date.
  14. Amendments
    1. Queen’s Lounge reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Clients will be notified of any changes affecting their existing bookings
2. Cullinan Private Lounge – Joburg – Venue Hire Terms and Conditions
  1. High-Risk Activity Approval
    1. The Cullinan reserves the right to review and approve any potentially hazardous activities planned for the event, including, but not limited to: sports and any other high-risk The Cullinan may require additional indemnities or proof of specialised insurance coverage for such activities. Failure to obtain venue approval for high-risk activities may result in cancellation of the event without refund and The Cullinan shall not be liable for any resulting damages or losses.
  2. Assumption of Risk
    1. The Client acknowledges that participation in the event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury and property damage. The Client assumes all risks associated with the event and acknowledges that The Cullinan shall not be responsible for any injuries or damages sustained.
  3. Expanded Assumption of Risk
    1. The Client acknowledges that participation in the event involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, risks associated with large gatherings, alcohol consumption, staging, lighting and other event- related hazards. The Client is responsible for informing all guests, attendees and vendors of these risks. The Cullinan shall not be held liable for any injuries or damages sustained as a result of these inherent risks, to the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act,

    1. The Client agrees to maintain appropriate liability insurance covering the event, including coverage for general liability and property damage. Proof of insurance must be provided to the Company at least 5 (five) days prior to the

    1. The Client agrees to maintain liability insurance coverage for the event, with minimum coverage amounts of R250,000 for general liability and R1million for property damage. This insurance shall name the Cullinan as an additional insured and proof of insurance must be provided to the Cullinan no later than 5 (five) days before the event. Failure to provide proof of insurance by the specified date may result in the cancellation of the event, and the Client shall forfeit any deposits

    1. The Client must ensure that all guests adhere to the venue’s policies, including noise restrictions and respect for other patrons.

    4. The Client agrees to comply with all applicable safety regulations, guidelines, and protocols, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993, and to take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe
